Alembic ships their new basses with Alembic CX-3 strings. Hex steel core roundwound with nickel steel for a bright but not brittle sound. Elliptical profile final wrap feels silky to the touch and produces less fretting hand noise than traditional roundwound strings. CX-3 strings are also suitable for fretless basses.
